Based in Westchester, NY, Chief the Creator is a wedding videography and photography business. Every wedding film and photo collection is an opportunity to capture a couple's love story, preserving their favorite memories from the special occasion into one unique, cinematic creation. ABOUT THE TEAM

Chief the Creator was founded by Kashief, aka Chief. He was born in New York and continues to reside here. Chief is a father, a football lover, and gadget guy. What started with a GoPro grew into what you see on this website today. His wife, Amanda, encouraged him to pursue his passion and buy his first camera and furthermore begin a career that he loves. With that being said, he listened. He bought his very first camera and dove in. His natural creativity thrived and his passion for wedding videography only grew from there. Chief is the lead videographer and editor. He loves to help create passionate and fun moments along with grabbing all of those raw candids that don't need any directing. If Chief is not editing or spending time with family, he is locked into music. Through filming weddings, Chief learned more about love and placed a bigger importance on marriage. Together Chief and Amanda are husband and wife themselves and truly know how to connect with their clients. We're big Starbucks drinkers over here so if you'd like to set up a day to meet over coffee or Zoom, we're ready when you are!
